yrotsiH: Do We Have it Backwards?

How did I have it backwards all those years as a student, even in Christian school, and later when I began homeschooling too?!
The aim of "history class" was knowing more about people. Ironically, while I was teaching history that way, I was worried, worried, worried: Would my children know God? Would they be sure of His reality? Would His truths ever seem connected to real life?
Aha! Finally, I realized! History is actually a prime opportunity to reveal God and parade those truths convincingly, and then to see how people responded in history! Talk about "meaningful!"

This library serves christian families in her home area by making available the best literature of yesteryear, when children's literature was of a much different nature, both intellectually and philosophically. Michelle also helps other private libraries around the nation build the same type of literature collection. Thank you for your consideration!

Fathers and Raising Godly Sons
In intriguing, journalistic style, Moody Radio's PrimeTime America interviewed Michelle Miller (author of TruthQuest History) and Rev. Robert Lewis (author of Raising a Modern-Day Knight and Men's Fraternity) on the special impacts of fatherhood essential to the raising of sons. The insights are of unique interest to homeschooling families where boys spend the bulk of their waking hours with their devoted mothers. Produced by Paul Butler, these concise audio presentations can be found on his blog at:

Mission Impossible

Michelle shares the painful realization that she has, while trying to be a good mother, unwittingly insinuated herself into areas of her sons' training where God has gifted men with special impacts. While exploring the unique post of fathers (in teaching godly manhood, build a work ethic, etc.), Michelle became conscious of powerful obstructions and their fettering of Christian parents trying to reproduce the faith in the next generation. Fathers report seeing the awesomeness and challenges of their mission in a whole new way!

Parents, What Hidden Beliefs Drive the Education Decisions We Make for Our Children?
In intriguing, journalistic style, Moody Radio's PrimeTime America interviewed Michelle Miller (author of TruthQuest History) about the (usually) hidden beliefs that drive our decisions about education for our children. Thought-provoking and helpful for parents considering all education decisions, not just homeschooling. In fact, homeschooling is not even mentioned, since the questions are universal and deeply spiritual. Produced by Paul Butler, this concise audio presentation aired in 2009 and can now be found on his blog at:
